PHP 5.3 and 5.4 now supported

Last June, we announced that we were no longer supporting PHP4. Following the announcement, many customers requested a deadline for the support of PHP 5.3 and 5.4. We had already planned putting more time in testing these versions on our Panelbox platform, and see if we could simultaneously support 5.2 (the current version), alongside 5.3 and 5.4. The testing period is now complete, and we have finalized the integration of the latest versions of PHP on our servers!

Funio will no longer send paper invoices

The time has come where Funio stops sending invoices by standard mail. Very few customers still had this option active. In addition to not being eco-friendly, this added a heavy administrative task load that was becoming harder to keep up to date on.

System Update: Added Security Through LFD

System Update: Added Security Through ModSecurity

On Tuesday March 20th 2012, we finalized the implementation of a module called mod_security on all our Panelbox shared hosting servers. This module, known for its efficiency, allows the filtering of requests made on our web servers based on preestablished security rules.

Funio’s 1st month online! (Part 3/3)

Last January 16th, Funio took over the domain management systems, hosting infrastructures and customer service. Today, this transition which is not always very easy, is ongoing. We have faced many challenges in the last month, but our team has dedicated itself to the task and has been able to catch up with the accumulated lateness that was due to a high volume of requests.
