Easy eCommerce With panierdachat.com

When our customers impress us and share a similar ideology to ours, we like to share the experience like we did with Workland.ca in April 2014. I would now like to share my impressions of Panierdachat.com, an Online Shop turnkey solution for businesses that wish to comfortably sell their products online with easy-to-use tools specifically designed for eCommerce.

Instead of interviewing Pascal Couturier, founder of panierdachat.com, I decided (unbeknownst to him) to live the experience of his product and tell you all about it.

My Subscription

A quick overview of the panierdachat.com website provides me with sufficient information on the product they are offering: a turnkey solution for eCommerce. I still have some apprehension and wonder: will this service really meet my needs? It’s normal and especially important to ask yourself this question, however, the only way to fill in the void is to jump into it. Thankfully, Panierdachat has a security net set up for me: 15 days free trial. And I don’t need to enter my credit card anywhere!

First impressions:

  • Super easy subscription (2 minutes)
  • I can ignore the different plans for 15 days
  • Welcome tutorial shows me how to add and sell a product in a few clicks
  • Very clean and intuitive look and feel

As soon as my subscription was done, I ended up in a management interface that reminded me of WordPress: my website is already there and I just need to modify its content and pictures.

The Management Interface

The first thing I noticed was that the menu is balanced and fluid. There is a sufficient amount of configurations to efficiently personalize my website, regardless of my level of expertise with website management.

panierdachat - gestion

Let’s be honest: someone with a little of experience with a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress will navigate this interface easily. For those that have never encountered a CMS before, you will take a bit of time to familiarize yourself with the different options, but the learning curve will remain fast enough.

The Content

I quickly realized that there are 3 important things I need to configure:

  • My products (name, description, image, price)
  • Payment portal (PayPal is easiest, but still requires a “business” account; instructions are located in the Panierdachat interface to help  you out)
  • Website (images, information, design, additional pages, blog, etc.)

If you do not have all the content for those 3 elements, you can still build a 100% functional website and sell your products in less than 2 days of work. This estimate seems reasonable to me, considering someone that has minimal web skills and wishes to personalize their online shop as much as possible.

panierdachat - catalogue

Additionally, for those with little or no experience, you will learn that when creating a webpage, you need

  • high quality images of your products
  • a description for your products
  • a logo
  • information on you and your business

Options & More

Each time I navigate through the menu, I discover something new to explore: promotional codes, newsletter integration, Google Adwords, SEO assistance, domain name registration, etc. Those are all essential services that enhance a website’s quality.

panierdachat - partenaires

Even though my first impression of panierdachat.com was to see it as though Etsy met WordPress, I quickly realized that the people that developed this product have many years of experience in this field and were able to intelligently condense all their knowledge into a solid Web solution.

For me, navigating the interface is like speaking to a web consultant. By examining all the different options the site has to offer, you rapidly learn what elements are needed to not only put a website and shopping cart online, but how to transform your online business into a high performance virtual store.

Conclusion

From these observations, I conclude that panierdachat.com is for you if you wish to position yourself on the web with eCommerce, highlight your products and receive positive financial benefits from your online sales, but do not have the experience nor the resources to manage a website with everything that comes along with it.

In my opinion, here are the highlights of panierdachat.com:

  • 100 % bilingual
  • Panierdachat.com does not ask for a commission on your sales
  • Possibility to integrate products with their variants (ideal for selling clothes)
  • Easily customizable website templates
  • Already optimized for mobile
  • No need to manage the platform, servers, security, etc. (100% managed by Panierdachat)
  • Multiple personalization avenues (integration to an existing website, your domain name, design)
  • Affordable plans (from $20/month)
  • Turnkey eCommerce solution
  • Additional/secondary services made available (web designers for your online cart; assistance with the configuration of payment services and package delivery)
  • Optimized for Google, and SEO services are available
  • Simplified accounting management with CSV exportation
  • Canada Post partnership
  • Desjardins partnership (Monetico & Forfait évolution)
