Managing your hosting plan just became easier with your Customer Hub!

For over 3 years already, we have been constantly improving our different client interfaces and adding new tools to perpetuate our vision: make web hosting available to everyone!

More specifically today, we have done so by integrating the management and configuration of your hosting plan in your Customer Hub. In short, we have:

• Improved the navigation and design of the hosting product management page.

• Integrated the most used cPanel (Panelbox) functions in the Customer Hub, such as :
  • Domain management (additional domains, subdomains, aliases).
  • Email management (email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders).
  • Database management (centralized in 1 step DB creation, its user and their association).

• Improved the link between the Customer Hub and cPanel to allow a secured connection without the need of entering your cPanel username/password.

Hosting Overview Evolved

Here’s what has changed:

1. An overview of the functions integrated in your Customer Hub: in a click, you can now view and modify the configurations for your domain names, your email accounts and databases.

2. Adapt the billing of your hosting plan to your liking in a few clicks!

3. If it’s frequently used, you will find it in this section. It’s as easy as that!

You are more of the personalized configurations type? You are comfortable with advanced hosting features in cPanel? You will find what you are looking for by clicking on Advanced Management. We also moved the backup restore request and cPanel password modification buttons at the same place!

cPanel Functions Integrated to the Customer Hub

We cordially invite you to go and discover the functions in your Customer Hub by exploring the interface by yourself! However, we think the following is worth mentioning.

Domain Management

We simplified the process that allows you to add a domain to your hosting plan by removing the FTP user creation. For the less technical, our interface does not encumber the user with superfluous information, such as a username/password and the backend subdomain creation.

Email Account Management

Again, simplicity is central to our work! The most interesting function in this section is the options added to the autoresponders section (interval, start/end date). Programming an email responder has never been so easy. You have got to try it!

Database Management

Thanks to the wizardry behind brilliant programming, we have automated the 3 steps necessary to use a database: create database, create a username and link both of them together. That’s now all done in a single step!

Worry-Free Secure cPanel Connection

No longer will you need to type in your username and password to access cPanel (Panelbox)! Through the Customer Hub, we created a unique secure session to your hosting control panel. Obviously, you can still connect to the control panel with its direct link like you did before. But why bother?

But Isn’t Panelbox Your User Hosting Interface?

You are totally right! Since March 2008, we have been providing a user interface called Panelbox, an in-house developed interface made to provide a genuinely better customer experience than the one offered by cPanel. Time has passed and cPanel has evolved (our customers too!). Therefore, it has become necessary for us to also evolve “Panelbox”. We decided that it was a better idea to centralize everything and simplify hosting management in our Customer Hub!
