While giving people the opportunity to subscribe is important, so is selling the benefits of doing so.<\/p>\n<p>Reasons to sign up for a newsletter can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hints about the next topic in your newsletter on your website of social media pages<\/li>\n<li>Incentives\n<ul>\n<li>Content, like an ebook<\/li>\n<li>A Promotion or coupon code<\/li>\n<li>Information about an exclusive event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A clear list name. Most people won\u2019t sign-up just for \u201cour email newsletter\u201d, but they will sign-up for \u201cExclusive offers and discounts\u201d, or \u201cHairstyling tips and tricks\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regardless what you do to get people on your list, always be explicit and honest.
