We took the opportunity to meet with Normand Fortier, Operations VP, and Michel Philibert , Director &#8211; Communications &amp; Marketing. They have accepted to answer a few questions in order for us to better understand the motivation that led PointQu\u00e9bec to create this project.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">What motivated the PointQu\u00e9bec registry to start this project?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">We are and have always been Canadiens fans. We were looking for a pleasant way to encourage our team and support the <a title=\"Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation\" href=\"https:\/\/fondation.canadiens.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Montreal Canadiens Children\u2019s Foundation<\/a>, which is where the idea of reaching out to ghosts and to the \u201cSainte-Flanelle\u201d (the holy flannel sweater) comes from.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">What are you doing to make www.\u00e7asentlacoupe.quebec visible?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">We have been driving campaigns on social media where we have highlighted multiple members of our team. We are also putting up posters and flyers here and there.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">What outcomes are you expecting out of this project?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">That the Bell Centre ghosts and the holy flannel sweater help the Canadiens bring the Cup back to Montreal! But also to promote the .QUEBEC domain name.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">What has been the public\u2019s reaction to this idea?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">The reaction is quite positive. We have received many website visits and a lot of pledges. People have a great sense of humour!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">For now, what positive surprise has the project entailed?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Fan pledges\u2026 they make us smile and we find that people are ready to do anything for the CH to win!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Michel and Normand told us that the PointQu\u00e9bec team has committed to giving $1,000 to the <a title=\"Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation\" href=\"https:\/\/fondation.canadiens.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Montreal Canadiens Children\u2019s Foundation<\/a> if more than 5,000 people participated to <a title=\"\u00c7a sent la coupe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.%C3%A7asentlacoupe.quebec\" target=\"_blank\">www.\u00e7asentlacoupe.quebec<\/a>. They promised that they will double that amount if the Canadiens win the Stanley Cup!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Now, that\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">FUNIO is proud to be associated with this project.
