Included in our June Newsletter was a link to a teaser image<\/a> of the Products section of the Customer Hub<\/a> like you had never seen before. We could not leave the mystery hang any longer, hence we shortly thereafter launched a new version of this popular section. Our new Products page works with you, by allowing you to view all domain names that are hosted on your hosting plan(s), and what products are (or can be) associated with them.<\/p>\n

Reseller’s Heaven<\/h3>\n

Before this grid-like view of products, our resellers would find it difficult to figure out what product was associated to what customer account. What we did is link the WHM and cPanel interfaces to our Customer Hub so all cPanel activations, Addon and Parked domains, are displayed.<\/p>\n

Two Viewing Methods<\/h3>\n

As you can see, the “Grid” view allows you to see your products and filter them easily. No more confusion: you will know exactly what product is associated with which domain and on what hosting plan it is located (if it is).<\/p>\n

You can always go back to our classic “Icon” viewing method in order see your products individually.<\/p>\n

Dynamic<\/h3>\n

We made sure that major manipulations, such as adding\/removing an addon domain, the creation\/deletion of a cPanel account (for resellers) or even renaming a hosting plan, are replicated in the Customer Hub instantaneously.\u00a0This update allows you to not only see what happens on your hosting plan, but also to take advantage of the Hub’s automated SSL installation feature for an addon domain, for example.<\/p>\n

Intelligent Billing<\/h3>\n

New products are linked to the main renewable product’s billing cycle and renewal date (like a hosting plan), therefore charging the new service only for the period remaining before the main product’s renewal. With this method, you avoid having services being billed on different dates and different cycles. However, we do not restrict you to this method, and you can always choose to dissociate billing charges of the new service from the main product.<\/p>\n

The Hub Evolution<\/h3>\n

If you have been with us for a few years, you will surely have noticed that we have come a long way to get to a very nice looking, user-friendly and dynamic Customer Hub. It is an interface that continuously evolves and we are not short of ideas on how to improve upon it. You have made many recommendations, and so many of them are awesome ideas. Out of these, we noted web software update notifications, improved product filtering and bulk management. We plan on making that happen.
